West Valley concluded its Coast Conference and regular season slate with a 6-3 win over Chabot Saturday at the West Valley College Tennis Complex. The Vikings ended the year in second place in the Coast with a 9-3 mark, 13-4 overall. They head to Visalia April 8 to open the 3C2A NorCal team playoffs against the College of the Sequoias (15-0, 9-0 Central Valley). 

West Valley ran its four-year Coast record under coach Lauren Hickey to 36-10, with an overall mark during that span of 49-19. Saturday's victory over the Gladiators (8-8, 6-6) showed the line depth that will be key at the Coast Conference Championship Tournament April 10-12 at Ohlone. Kristina Gazaryan, Ruth Herrera-Flores and Bailey Sylva all won both their doubles and singles matches against Chabot.
