Neitzle anchors 2nd place Coast team finish, heads to state meet in Santa Rosa
Owen Neitzle led West Valley to a 2nd place finish at last week's Coast Conference Championships at the College of San Mateo. Neitzle won the 100 Fly title with a time of 50.92 and will appear in three individual events at this weekend's 3C2A Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at Santa Rosa Jr. College.
Neitzle will hit the blocks in Santa Rosa in the 50 Free, the 100 Fly and the 100 IM, along with a trio of relay teams. Lucas Castro, Dang An Ngo, Neitzle and Bronson Chungson will compete in the 200 IM Relay, while Tristan Grimett and Liam Rogers will join Neitzle and Chungson in the 200 Free and 400 Free relays.
